Koenigsegg is famous for building cars as exotic as its Swedish name. The oddlynamed Quant is a fullscale model of a fourseat electric car theoretically capable of a top speed of 170 MPH and a 300mile range after only a 20minute charge.
33. Giugiaro Frazer Nash Namir
Designed by famous Italian firm Giugiaro, this hybrid claims to be the fastest ever with a top speed of 187 MPH. While this number is realistic given the two electric motors and sleek design, the 1,200mile range seems almost impossible without a tank for the small gas engine larger than the car itself.

In addition to the E2, Rinspeed brought out its iChange electric car concept for the Geneva crowds. What makes this car different from other batterypowered offerings is the cars special ability to change from a singlepassenger vehicle to an automobile capable of ferrying three people around.

It demonstrates the growing international reach of Buick and offers an exciting vision of where it can go.

Building fullsize cars out of videogame renderings seems to be a hot trend, and thats how the Chaparral 2X Vision GT transformed from pixels to pavement. This ultimate racecar was developed for the Gran Turismo 6 racing game on Sony PlayStation 3. Jim Halls Chaparral Cars had partnered with Chevrolet 45 years ago, and the 2X Vision GT was inspired by the innovative racecars that came from Texasbased Chaparral. It was created in a norules atmosphere to challenge designers and test engineers to deliver the most exhilarating sensations. This is a fantasy car by design, said Frank Saucedo, who oversaw the team that worked on the concept.
